1. Create a Mobile App
Creating a mobile app is something anyone can do today without any code! You can create almost anything using tools like Buildbox.
Imagine you developed an app with 6,000 daily active users, and each one spends about 6 minutes a day on it. Once you add a monetization strategy inside your app you could show 2 video ads per minute, and you’re looking at 72,000 video ads shown daily (6,000 users * 2 ads/minute * 6 minutes).
Let’s say you average a coacervate eCPM (earnings per 1,000 ads) of about $5.00, your daily ad revenue would be $360 (72,000 ads / 1,000 * $5.00). This means you would be making just over $10k a month!

2. Create an AI Fueled Business
AI isn’t just a buzzword anymore it’s the new frontier for hustlers looking to make serious cash and you should be tapping into it.
Everyone’s looking to cash in on AI’s potential, and you can totally be one of them, inching closer to that $10k-a-month goal.
You can use ChatGPT to guide businesses on their SEO strategies or crank out articles for those who need it. A cool way is to get into the world of digital art, creating and selling AI masterpieces. There’s a whole world of possibilities where tech meets talent, and it’s ripe for the taking.
Check out this AI image I made using the query “Make me some sick digital art that will sell for $10,000” Upload and print some of your “work” out and sell them for a price. You can easily set up a business via Etsy that can start generating $10k a month!
Also as a full disclaimer: I use AI to help me write some content you are reading today!

Download ChatGPT and set up an Etsy Store.

3. Start a Blog
I have to admit, I am a little biased here putting this one on my list but it’s really a great way to make crazy revenue once you learn and scale your own blog. The journey is really fun and full of exciting opportunities but it’s not easy.
You have to grind like crazy and really learn a lot about SEO, affiliate links, user intent, and much much more but even if you don’t make near that $10k mark, your skills are pretty much sought out for in the workplace.
You can start a blog around your own brand and talk about exactly what you love, there are millions of products you can promote that weave into that niche that customers would love for you to talk about.
My journey was tough but I am getting close to crushing that goal!

4. Create a Niche Subscription Box
Subscription boxes are a great way for you to get involved with e-commerce and learn how to fulfill people’s curiosity. The trick is to zero in on something unique that people are passionate about. Do you have a hobby that you could package up?
Say you’re doing a fitness gearbox. You put it together for $30 each and charge $60. Start with 100 subscribers, and that’s $3,000 profit a month right there. Ramp it up to 500 subscribers and you’re at $15,000 a month.
Of course, it’s not just about the box – you’ve got to nail your marketing, really understand your customers, and keep your content fresh.
If you hit the right niche and keep your subscribers happy, you could turn this into a solid business.
Getting Started
Brainstorm ideas and create a store in Shopify.

5. Affiliate Marketing
This one is pretty broad but must be on this list for a few reasons. Affiliate marketing is a massive business, so massive it’s worth over $ 17 billion in 2023 alone.
Most brands use it to promote and distribute their products and you can tap into this to make some serious revenue.
The best part is you can pretty much use it anywhere like in social media to blog posts.
Start by building up your blog, YouTube channel, or social media with content that draws people in. You could do reviews, how-to guides, or even share your experiences with the products.
The more people trust your recommendations, the more likely they are to buy through your links.
The commission per sale might not be huge, but it adds up. Imagine you’re promoting a $200 gadget with a 10% commission. Ten sales and you’ve made $200. Scale that up, keep your content strong and engaging, and hitting $10k a month becomes a realistic goal.
It takes time and effort but the cool part is you’re earning by talking about stuff you’re probably already excited about.
6. Drop Shipping
This is where I started my first online business and happy to say it’s the first one to hit $10k per month for me. It’s not every month I made crazy revenue but it’s the one that got me the most excited.
It’s a straightforward concept but has huge potential for making good money. Basically, you set up an online store and sell products, but you don’t actually stock the items. When someone orders from your store, the order goes straight to the supplier, who then ships it directly to the customer.
You’re like the middleman without the hassle of inventory or shipping logistics.
To nail this business, it’s all about choosing the right products and getting your marketing right.
Say you’re into outdoor gear. You set up a store for hiking enthusiasts, find suppliers with great products, and list those on your site. When someone buys, you pay the supplier their price and keep the profit margin, which could be pretty big. The key is to find products that have demand but not too much competition.
The hard part is scaling up and hitting that $10k a month mark by driving traffic to your store and converting that traffic into sales. This is where things like SEO, social media marketing, and perhaps some paid ads come into play.
It’s a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it and find the right niche, dropshipping can be a seriously profitable business. The beauty of it is that you can run this business from anywhere in the world and it’s pretty passive.
Getting Started
Brainstorm niche ideas, create a store in Shopify, and reach out to suppliers.

7. Start a 3D Printing Business
This is a pretty cool way to make money and one that involves relatively new skills. 3D printing is blowing up because it lets you create practically anything, from simple gadgets to intricate models, and there’s a growing market for it.
The first step is getting your hands on a good 3D printer. They’ve become more affordable, so it’s a viable option even if you’re just starting out. Once you’ve got that, think about what niche you want to dive into. There are a ton of options: custom figurines, bespoke jewelry, prototype parts for startups, or even architectural models.
Scaling up to $10k a month involves refining your craft, marketing your products effectively, and maybe even expanding your printer setup to handle larger orders. Use social media, create a killer website on Shopify, and maybe throw some tutorials or behind-the-scenes content out there to draw people in.
It’s a bit of work but if you’re into tech and design, it’s also a lot of fun and super rewarding. Plus, you’re at the forefront of a pretty cutting-edge industry.
8. Start a Podcast
This one is near the bottom of the list because it’s something everyone could do but can be something lucrative if you have the time, passion, and commitment.
You don’t need much to start: just some good recording gear and a passion for your topic. Whether it’s tech, lifestyle, or something super niche (underwater basket weaving), there’s an audience for it!
Earning up to $10k a month comes down to growing your audience and monetizing your podcast. This can be through sponsorships, ads, or premium content. As your listener base grows, so does your earning potential.
Keep your content engaging and consistent, and use social media to boost your reach. It’s a great way to earn by talking about what you love.
9. Business Consulting
I would recommend getting into business consulting as a supplementary source of income from some of the projects you already started.
If you have expertise in areas like marketing, finance, or operations, you can turn that knowledge into a legit business. It comes down to finding your niche and offering valuable advice to businesses that need it. And there are a ton out there that would pay you some high ticket consulting fees.
Making $10k a month is about growing your client list and proving you can deliver results. Start small, build your reputation, and as you gain trust, you can start charging more.
Networking and referrals will drive your business. It’s a field where your experience and results can pay off.
10. Influencer Marketing
I’m not the biggest fan of being a TikToker but you can’t hide the fact that you can seriously make bank on social media.
If you’ve got a good social media following and can really connect with your audience, you’re set up for success. If not, building an audience is your first step and is a long road to hit a consistent $10k a month.
You can make money through sponsored posts, product reviews, or being a brand ambassador. Stick to what you and your audience love, and brands will pay for that genuine connection.
It’s about building a brand that attracts lucrative partnerships and relationships.

11. Rent Your Cars on Turo
Turo has to be one of my favorite apps and it’s one that can set you up for life.
I love traveling to San Diego and renting a convertible to drive around for the day, and once paying $250 a day got me thinking, how can I make money doing the same?
Turo is like the Airbnb for cars, letting you list your vehicle for rent when you’re not using it.
Suppose you own a decent car that’s popular with renters, like a BMW SUV or a Tesla. Let’s say you can rent it out for $50 per day. If you manage to rent it out for 20 days in a month, that’s already $1,000!
If you have a couple of cars or can scale up to renting out more premium vehicles, you can see how the numbers add up.
With strategic pricing and good management, hitting a significant monthly earning like $10k is challenging but possible, especially in areas with high demand for rental cars. Since I live in Austin, it’s a huge market and I have met a couple of friends who have already found massive success!

12. Sell Online Courses
Selling courses is a fantastic route if you have expertise in a specific area and enjoy teaching others. Whether it’s cooking, coding, digital marketing, or yoga, there’s a market for almost every skill.
Here’s a basic breakdown of the potential earnings.
Say you create a course priced at $100. If you manage to sell it to 100 students a month, that’s already $10,000! The key is creating high-quality content that offers real value and then effectively marketing your course. Platforms like Udemy, Teachable, or your own website can be used to host and sell your courses.
There’s a ton of upfront work and it takes a ton of time creating, building and finding an audience. If you nail it, you’re number will reach way beyond $10k a month. With the right strategy and a bit of marketing, selling online courses can be a lucrative way to share your knowledge and skills.

13. Rent Out Your Space
Here’s a unique idea that I picked up from a friend who’s making a great income by renting out his house. He shared with me that he used a platform called Peerspace to lease his place to Tesla for a commercial shoot, and they paid him over $10,000 for just three days of work.. imagine that!
This concept isn’t limited to short-term video shoots though. There’s serious potential for impressive earnings through platforms like Airbnb or VRBO. By listing your property for vacation rentals or even longer stays, you can tap into a steady stream of income.
Example & Proof

14. Mobile Car Detailing
This one goes hand in hand with renting your cars on Turo, why not expand and start detailing cars as well?
You provide a convenient service by going to the customer’s location to detail their car. It saves them the hassle of going to a car wash and waiting around.
For premium services like high-end waxing, interior deep cleaning, or engine detailing, you can charge a good amount. Say you set a price of $250 for a thorough detailing job. If you detail 10 cars a week, that’s already $2,500 a week, or $10,000 a month.
With the right strategy and dedication, a mobile car detailing service can be both profitable and satisfying.

15. Virtual Event Planning
Virtual event planning is a business that can really pay off, especially now when online events are booming. Think about organizing webinars, online conferences, or even virtual parties and ceremonies.
Here’s a quick look at the potential earnings: If you charge around $2,000 for organizing a small webinar and you manage to plan five such events in a month, you’re already making $10,000. The more complex and larger the event, the higher your fee can be.
I remember attending a cooking class online, they were killing it with over 50 participants online and constantly doing several events per week.
It’s a field where you can not only earn well but also enjoy the satisfaction of bringing people together, even if it’s just virtually.
